Four Issues that need Attention when Changing Geothermal Wells into Air Source Heat Pumps
Geothermal energy is a new kind of clean energy, which has a promising prospect.Geothermal wells refer to methods and devices for generating electricity using geothermal energy with a well depth of about 3,500 meters or hot spring water with a water temperature greater than 30°C. Geothermal is classified into three types: high temperature, medium temperature and low temperature. Above 150℃, in the form of steam, it belongs to high-temperature geothermal; 90℃~150℃, in the form of a mixture of water and steam, belongs to medium-temperature geothermal; Above 25℃ and below 90℃, it belongs to warm water and temperature. The existence of hot water, hot water, etc. belongs to low-temperature geothermal. A geothermal well was successfully drilled in Fengheying Village, Daxing District, Beijing, China on March 12, 2010. The measured temperature reached 103°C, breaking the record of geothermal water temperature in Beijing, China, and becoming the first medium-temperature geothermal well in Beijing, China.
However, the rational development and utilization of geothermal resources has strict standards and requirements. For example, drinking water, surface water and soil near the direct discharge of tail water must be recharged in the same layer; geothermal water directly enters the heating system to affect the community’s pipe network and residents. The heating equipment is corroded severely, and a heat exchange device must be installed to take only heat but not water.
It is precisely because of such strict standards that geothermal wells in many areas have been developed too blindly. As a result, many unreasonable and unqualified geothermal wells have been produced, and they are facing varying degrees of demolition or improvement. Here are a few issues that need attention when changing geothermal wells into air source heat pumps.
1. When selecting the main air source heat pumps engine, it is best to configure it according to the insulation of the building and the actual needs of users, or it can be configured according to the power of the original geothermal well system, but this method has certain risks, after all, geothermal wells and air There is a certain difference between the heating efficiency of the air source heat pump and the actual water supply temperature.
2. The original needs of the water pumps are used to calculate the need to increase or decrease after the transformation according to the number and head of the water pumps.
3. The renovation of the old community should consider the installation location of the main air source heat pumps engine to avoid noise interference to the owners, otherwise complaints are inevitable.
4. When the air source heat pumps main pipeline is used to make use of the old, it is necessary to consider whether the water flow can meet the heating demand. In addition, the cutting and docking must not affect the water flow of the system and ensure seamless docking. Otherwise, water leakage will be very troublesome.
