High Temp Geothermal Heat Pump Water Heater
Geothermal heat pumps are one of the most versatile heating and cooling
technologies available. The high temp geothermal heat pump can further increase
the hot water temperature to 160°F (71°C).
The high temp geothermal heat pump takes preheated liquid and uses it to
heat water up to 160°F (71°C). It achieves this by using R134a refrigerant,
which has a higher temperature range than traditional R410a.
The coefficient of performance (COP) of the geothermal heat
pump will be between 2.5 and 6.5. For larger applications, multiple units can
be used in parallel, making it ideal for large commercial applications.
The geothermal heat pump system can be used to supply 100% of
the domestic hot water required by the home or building, and it can maintain
the highest efficiency even in the coldest winter night or the hottest summer.
