R744 Air Source Heat Pump

R744 air source heat pump can be used for domestic and commercial heating, cooling and domestic hot water (DHW) production. Compared with traditional air source heat pumps, R744 heat pump uses carbon dioxide CO2 as a refrigerant.


R744 carbon dioxide refrigerant:

The model name R744 is a natural refrigerant CO 2. Carbon dioxide (CO 2) is almost an ideal refrigerant for ecological and safety related aspects, because its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is zero. In addition, its non-toxic, non-flammable and chemical inertness make it unnecessary to recycle and dispose of.


The traditional air source heat pump is used for defrosting at -7°C, and the hot water at -15°C has very low effect, and the heat loss is about 70%. The CO2 heat pump produces a water flow temperature of 90 °C when the outdoor temperature is as low as -25 °C and the hot water COP is as high as 3.88.


Heat pumps can absorb and move heat from the surroundings without generating heat, so this type of heat pump is very efficient, which saves energy and reduces operating costs.


The CO2 heat pump is an ideal choice for hot water systems in multi-family homes, gyms, industries, hotels, education and healthcare.


R744 Air Source Heat Pump Features:
1). The reliability and outstanding performance of the world-renowned scroll compressor
2). Natural CO2 (R744, carbon dioxide) refrigerant. Its ODP is 0, GWP is 1, and it is non-polluting, non-toxic and non-flammable to the environment
3). Intelligent control: microprocessor digital controller with liquid crystal display
4). Adjustable water temperature: 25℃-90℃. There is no potential risk of contaminating drinking water
5). Can produce high temperature hot water at -20℃ outdoors
6). Blue hydrophilic aluminum fins, anti-corrosion, durable, low maintenance
7). Internally threaded copper tube, higher efficiency
8). The four-way valve ensures reliable defrosting function
9). Alco or Danfoss thermal expansion valve can more accurately control the pressure and temperature to ensure anti-fatigue and extend the service life.
