The high-efficiency cold-climate heat pump (CCHP) uses an inverter or
variable-speed drive compressor, which allows it to absorb heat from the air to
heat your home and hot water in an extremely cold climate of -25°C
The COP value of the low temperature heat pump is greater than 3 at 5
°F. This means that even at very low temperatures, heat pumps can provide up to
3 times the heat of inefficient alternatives such as skirting boards.
The heat pump does not need to be burned as fuel, which will greatly
reduce your carbon emissions and save your energy costs.
Just like other heat pumps, CCHP doubles as a cooling system in summer.
