Why the price of air source EVI heat pump is so much more expensive than air conditioner ?

Why is air source EVI heat pump more expensive than air conditioner? We have to talk about this issue from their key components. Low temperature air source EVI heat pump products come in four forms:

1. The form of frequency conversion + jet enthalpy system;

2. The form of jet enthalpy;

3. The form of spray cooling;

4. Adopt the form of inverter compressor.

With the use of air-jet enthalpy or variable frequency air source EVI heat pump products, the oil return and liquid return of the compressor will be more considered. In other words, the cost of a single compressor (the core component of the unit) will be much higher than that of ordinary air conditioners. Air source EVI heat pump condenser requires better effect, generally shell and tube heat exchanger and double tube heat exchanger are selected. The area of the evaporator will be relatively large, and there will be more choices of fins, copper tubes and auxiliary materials. There will generally be a difference of nearly 20% between cooling and heating on the evaporator.

Because of the difference in the selection of compressors, condensers and evaporators between the two, their costs are also different, which in turn affects the market price.

Air source EVI heat pumps and air conditioners have the same origin, which means that the principles of application are the same, but the directions of use and working temperature are different, and the requirements for key components are different, which leads to differences in prices. Although the price of air energy is higher than that of air conditioners, its energy efficiency at low temperatures is much higher than that of air conditioners, and the cost of use is also low. Air conditioners can only use strong heating mode in low temperature environments, that is, electric auxiliary heating. "Electric Tiger", the use cost is very high, which is why low-temperature air energy EVI heat pumps are popular in the Nordic heating market.

What is the difference between the cost of air source EVI heat pump and air conditioner? For example, under the same model, the difference between the compressor alone is about 800 yuan, not counting the condenser and evaporator. And the specific price depends on the choice of each manufacturer, after all, Copeland compressor and Sanyo compressor are also very different.

I believe that with the gradual maturity of technology, air source EVI heat pump products will eventually be able to enter thousands of households like mobile phones!
