Heat pumps provide space and water heating, as well as cooling, in one
system. They work using a heat transfer process. They do not generate heat or
convert electrical energy into heat like traditional resistance heaters.
Instead, they extract natural heat from one place and transfer it to another.

While a heat pump will use an external energy source, such as electricity,
for the transfer process, the heat transfer can be three to four times greater
than the electrical energy consumed. This means they are more energy efficient
than traditional resistance heaters. For example, if a heat pump produces 2.5
kilowatts of thermal energy, they actually use less than 1 kilowatt of
electricity! This makes the heat pump system very cheap to run and most likely
reduces your carbon footprint.
Hot water heat pumps are designed for efficient production of domestic
hot water. Our air source heat pumps use "air to water" heat transfer
technology to ensure the highest energy efficiency class (Energy Efficiency
Class A+). This heat pump system is virtually silent and includes a leak-proof
enamelled steel water tank, insulated by 50mm thick PU insulation to help
reduce heat loss. It also includes submerged heating elements for fast heating
of water and magnesium anodes to prevent limescale. Mandatory installation kit
