The Difference between the Set Temperature of 45 and 50 Degrees for Air Source Heat Pumps

The difference between the set temperature of 45 and 50 degrees for air source heat pumps is mainly reflected in comfort, power consumption and the operating efficiency of the equipment.

 

1. Comfort

When the set temperature is 50 degrees, it usually feels more comfortable because this temperature is close to the suitable temperature range of the human body.

 

2. Power consumption

When the set temperature is 50 degrees, the power consumption will be more than when the set temperature is 45 degrees. This is because higher temperatures require more energy to maintain, resulting in increased electricity bills.

 

3. Equipment operating efficiency

When the set temperature is 50 degrees, the air source heat pump is more prone to frost, which will affect the operating efficiency and life of the equipment.
