What is the Best Air Source Heat Pump Temperature in Winter?

The temperature range and applicability of air source heat pumps in winter vary by region and device type. Here is a detailed analysis:

 

1. Northern region

The lowest winter temperature in most parts of the north is usually around -15℃, or even lower. In this case, ordinary air source heat pumps may not work properly, so low-temperature air source heat pumps are needed. These devices can operate stably in an environment of -25℃ or even -30℃.

 

2. Southern region

The winter temperature in the south is relatively high, and normal temperature air source heat pumps can meet the needs, generally adapting to an environment of -15℃.

 

Indoor comfortable temperature

For indoor heat pump heating systems, the recommended winter indoor temperature range is 16℃ to 26℃, and the optimal temperature is around 20℃. The most comfortable indoor temperature for the human body is usually between 18℃ and 22℃.

 

Heat pump hot water system
